Dr. Mara Kailin is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience supporting teens and adults through life’s challenges. She has helped people navigate anxiety, depression, relationships, transitions, and the sense of feeling stuck, drawing from evidence-based approaches such as Psychodynamic therapy, CBT, and DBT. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Kailin provides licensure supervision, teaches at the doctoral level, and has served as a leader and speaker in behavioral health both locally and internationally. At Stronger Still, she brings her expertise to clinical supervision for assessments, adding valuable perspective and depth to the care clients receive.

Professional Biography
Dr. Mara Kailin, Psy.D., is a licensed, bilingual Clinical Psychologist. Dr. Kailin
has more than 20 years of leadership experience in cross-functional roles
encompassing clinical leadership, operations, quality, outcomes, strategy,
product management, system development, and data integration. Dr. Kailin’s
experience spans non-profit behavioral health, as well as early and later-stage
healthcare startups.
Dr. Kailin served as Chief Clinical Officer of Aurora Mental Health Center in
Denver, CO: a $70 mill organization that provides a full spectrum behavioral
health and substance use services in counseling centers, residential facilities,
public schools, and more. While at Aurora, she was responsible for more than
600 clinical staff members working across more than 45 different service lines.
Dr. Kailin has held leadership roles in several technology-enabled behavioral
healthcare startups, including Aware Healthcare, 98point6, Transcarent and
Concert Health. She is currently the Chief Clinical Officer at Mind and Match,
where she leads and scales a nation-wide behavioral health program, partners
with product teams to create new technologies for the delivery of healthcare
services, oversees compliance programs, credentialing, clinical quality and
service delivery.
During her career, Dr. Kailin has provided clinical services in Spanish and
English to adults, children and families. She consults for non-profit organizations
and behavioral health technology startups. She teaches in the Ph.D. program in
Counseling Psychology at the University of Denver. She has hired, trained and
mentored hundreds of behavioral health professionals. She is the President of
the Board of Directors of an $80 mill. healthcare non-profit serving individuals
with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Many of the programs Dr. Kailin
has developed have received statewide and national recognition. She has
spoken at national and international conferences and has appeared in the local,
national and international media. She was a leader in the mental health response
after the Aurora Theater Shooting as well as for other high profile events.
