Assessment Services

Find Answers.  Gain Clarity.

At Stronger Still, I offer individualized evaluations for children, teens, and adults to better understand strengths and challenges related to giftedness, ADHD, and anxiety. Using a neurodiversity-affirming lens, I provide clear insights and practical recommendations for home, school, and work. Assessments are available in person or online, including cognitive testing for school admissions, with timely results so families can move forward with confidence.

I receive clinical supervision from Dr. Mara Kailin, a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience. This collaboration adds valuable expertise and perspective, ensuring that every evaluation is thoughtful, thorough, and supportive.

Helping You Know What to Expect

Cognitive testing for school admissions is a focused, shorter evaluation—different from diagnostic testing—so reach out to schedule your child’s admissions assessment.

What to Expect from the Evaluation Process

Every evaluation is personalized and collaborative, designed around the specific questions you hope to answer—whether for yourself or your child. Here’s a typical process:

Initial Consultation
A free 30-minute phone or Zoom call to discuss your concerns, goals, and whether I’m the right fit for your assessment needs.

Intake & Personalized Plan
A 60–90 minute intake session covers history, symptoms, and questions. Within a week, you’ll receive a clear plan with recommended assessments, purpose, timeline, and costs.

Comprehensive Data Gathering
Using standardized tests, questionnaires, interviews, and (with consent) input from family or professionals, I build a full picture of strengths and challenges. Assessments may take 45 minutes to several hours, completed online or in person.

Ongoing Communication
You’ll receive regular updates throughout the process.

Analysis & Report
Results are interpreted through a neurodiversity-affirming lens, honoring the whole person. You’ll receive a detailed written report and a 90-minute feedback session to review findings, diagnoses (if applicable), and next steps.

It is my goal that you feel comfortable, heard, informed, and supported along the assessment process.

What about Time & Expense?

I understand that both time and cost are important considerations when deciding on an assessment. Because each evaluation is personalized, the amount of time can vary depending on your specific questions and how in-depth you’d like to go—typically ranging from about 5 hours to 1–2 days. We’ll talk through the options together so you have a clear sense of the process, and I’ll review costs with you in advance so there are no surprises. Sessions are often a mix of in-person and online to best fit your needs, and you’re welcome to reach out for a free consultation to get a clearer estimate and explore what might work best for you or your child.

School Collaboration & Support

With experience in both private practice and school settings, I understand the importance of collaboration with school teams. I build on existing data by offering deeper interpretation, clearer communication, and additional assessment when needed. Many parents wish for more clarity in reports—I help strengthen that understanding and support families in feeling confident during conversations about services and supports. I’m also available to participate in IEP, 504, or ALP meetings to translate findings into actionable plans.
